Overview

Gentlebrook’s site had grown inside a visual builder until it was slow to load and risky to edit. The replatform moves it to a hand-built, statically served site — same brand, dramatically lighter pages, and an editing workflow the team can actually maintain.

What I did

Audited the existing export page by page, rebuilt the templates with a lean component system, and relentlessly trimmed what the builder had generated. Accessibility issues — heading order, contrast, focus states — were fixed in the rebuild rather than patched after.

Outcome

Faster pages, cleaner markup, and a site the team can update without fear of breaking the layout.
